  • Professional Certifications
    Caregivers must hold current CPR (infant & adult) and First Aid certifications. Newborn Care Specialists must be certified or have a minimum of 1,000 hours of hands-on experience.

    Insurance & Health Requirements
    Postpartum doulas must carry active liability insurance. All caregivers must be up to date on vaccinations prior to placement.

    Professional Representation
    Caregivers are expected to present themselves with professionalism, discretion, and respect in every home they enter.

    Commitment to Quality Care
    We expect attentive, developmentally appropriate, and compassionate care, along with clear communication and reliability.

  • W-2 Employment
    All caregivers are hired as W-2 employees, ensuring compliance with New York State labor laws and providing a structured, secure work environment.

    Ongoing Placement Opportunities
    As many assignments are short-term, we prioritize repeat placements and consistent opportunities whenever possible.

    Time Off & Benefits
    Our caregivers are supported with paid sick time, as well as paid federal holidays or premium compensation for holiday coverage.

    Paid Holidays
    Federal holidays are observed as paid time off, or compensated at a premium rate if working.

    Overnight Accommodations
    For overnight care, families are expected to provide appropriate accommodations, including a private space and bathroom access.

  • We offer a range of placements including short-term newborn care, postpartum support, and long-term nanny positions. Each opportunity is thoughtfully matched based on your experience and availability.

  • Authorization to Work
    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

    Experience & Background
    A minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience is required, including full-time or consistent part-time roles. Newborn Care Specialists must be certified with a minimum of 1,000 hours of documented experience. Postpartum doulas must be certified or demonstrate equivalent experience and carry active liability insurance.

    Childcare Knowledge & Approach
    Demonstrated understanding of child development, with a nurturing, attentive, and developmentally appropriate approach to care.

    Professional References
    A minimum of three strong, verifiable professional childcare references, along with two personal character references, are required.

    Commitment & Reliability
    Caregivers are expected to demonstrate strong reliability, punctuality, and consistency, with a commitment to fulfilling the full duration of each placement, whether short-term or long-term.

    Responsibilities & Support
    Willingness to assist with light housekeeping and child-related tasks, including meal preparation, organization, and children’s laundry, while offering supportive guidance to parents through early routines and transitions.

    Screening & Background Checks
    Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and any additional screening required.

    Communication & Professionalism
    Strong communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, along with professional email etiquette. Caregivers are expected to present themselves with discretion, emotional intelligence, and professionalism at all times.

  • Once your application is reviewed and approved, we guide you through interviews and match you with families that align with your skills, preferences, and experience.

  • Yes. While many assignments are short-term, we prioritize offering repeat placements and consistent opportunities whenever possible.

  • We provide ongoing support, including resume guidance, training resources, online mentorship programs, and consistent communication throughout your placement to ensure a positive and supported experience.

  • Caregivers are employed as W-2 employees through the family they are placed with. We advocate for competitive, comprehensive benefits and support both parties through contract coordination to ensure a clear and seamless working relationship.
